Volunteer Staff
Camp Abilities at Lions Camp Merrick is solely dependant on you, the volunteer staff to make camp a reality. You will work on a 1:1 ratio with our student athletes. Your responsibilities will include: being a sighted guide for the athletes during camp, being a mentor, buddy and friend. Your influence and energy are vital to build an athlete's self-esteem and confidence both physically, socially and emotionally. If you are looking for a great, fun way to gain experience with children with visual impairments then Camp Abilities at Lions Camp Merrick is the place for you.
